Ag Summer Cookout

AG Appreciation Summer Cookout
Each summer, the Ag Summer Cookout brings together neighbors, families, farmers, and friends for an evening of great food and community spirit. Hosted by the Austin Area Chamber of Commerce and supported by the local ag community, this event is a heartfelt nod to our agricultural roots and the people who keep them growing strong.
At the center of it all? A delicious pork chop dinner with all the fixings—served up by smiling volunteers who know the value of hard work, good food, and coming together.
But the cookout is more than just a meal. It helps fund important youth ag programs, like 3rd Graders Day on the Farm, FFA, 4-H, and other efforts that plant the seeds for future generations. These programs educate, inspire, and keep the spirit of agriculture thriving in our region.
Whether you're part of a family that's farmed for generations or just someone who enjoys a good meal with good company, the Ag Summer Cookout is a celebration of the shared values that make Austin strong.
Come hungry. Leave connected.
Proceeds from this fundraiser support local 3rd Graders' agriculture educational programming on the Day on the Farm tour and FFA, 4H, Mower County Corn & Soybean Growers Association, and Mower County Dairy Princesses.
