We have a warm, home-like atmosphere where you can feel comfort and security in the company of your peers. Subsidized housing is available for the apartments. Private and semi-private rooms are available in the nursing home. St. Mark’s has a peaceful and relaxing environment. Ours staff consists of qualified, caring nursing personnel, physical, occupational and speech therapists, an active fun-loving activity department, dietary staff, social services department, a full-time chaplain and a dedicated housekeeping/laundry and maintenance staff.

Our House is an assisted living home, providing compassionate support for older adults. Respect and independence are the foundation of care delivered at the 40-unit facility.
Professional trained staff are available 24 hours a day to assist residents with personal care and, administer medications. Residents receive three home-cooked meals along with snacks that are available anytime.
The health of every resident is monitored daily. The Residence Director and Registered Nurse communicate with each resident’s family and doctor on an on-going basis. This pro-active approach to wellness includes not only the resident’s physical well-being, but their emotional well-being as well. Activities are designed to stimulate, entertain and motivate.

Comforcare is owned and operated by the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society. The Center can accommodate 45 residents, all in a private setting, is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health and provides the finest professional care in an atmosphere of comfort, compassion and dignity. The Center is designed to provide 24-hour care for persons following hospitalization, those requiring temporary rehabilitative care, and those who are unable to live independently. Comforcare offers all the amenities of home such as flat screen TV, fridge, etc.
Staff includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants. Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech/language pathology are available five days a week. Activity personnel provide an on-going program of social, recreational and therapeutic activities.
Each resident is invited to participate in the development of a comprehensive care plan which emphasizes service to the whole person. Consideration is given to spiritual, emotional and social needs, as well as to the resident’s well-being.
