Nine fields total in the North and South Complexes. Field number ten, a baseball field, is on the east side of the North Complex. Users include Park & Recreation Adult & Youth leagues, Austin schools and Youth Baseball and various tournaments. |
Todd Park Soccer Complex |
Three soccer fields in northwest Todd Park. Users include Park & Recre-
ation leagues, traveling soccer teams, adult leagues.

Municipal Pool |
A 50-meter, 8-lane pool opened in 1986. Features include a separate diving well, tot pool & play area, 104-ft waterslide, concession area and bathhouse. |
Izaak Walton Cabin |
Acquired in the fall of 1996, the
facility is used for rentals and in- house programs. Available by reser- vation only. For special occasions, wedding receptions, family reunions, etc. Call Park & Rec. for more in formation at 433- 1881. |

Skating Areas & Hockey Rinks |
There are 3 outdoor skating areas within the community. The skating season generally runs from December 26 through February 20. Supervised warming houses are located at Kauf man, 6 - 9pm weekdays & 1 - 5, 6 - 9 weekends, Sherman & Galloway, on weekends. |
Riverside Arena And Packer Arena |
This facility is city-owned, maintained by the Street Department and scheduled by the Park and
Recreation Department. The ice
season begins in November and
continues through mid-March (Packer Arena October - April). Users include the public, Austin Youth Hockey, Austin High School and Riverside Figure Skating Club. The facility is also available for rental, as are tables, chairs and stage.
During the non-Ice season they are available for wedding dances, class reunions, conventions, banquets, etc. Contact the Park and Rec. office for more information at 433-1881.

Walking Paths/Bike Trails
At Shirley Theel Memorial Park there is a 1/2 mile path provided by Austin Zontas. The Mill Pond provides a beautiful .88 mile path and located on North Main Street.

Recreation
City recreation is responsible for planning, promoting and organizing a comprehensive recreation program for all ages. The philosophy is to provide the most complete recreation programs possible for the greatest number of people at the lowest price. Children’s programs are offered as inexpensively as possible while adult programs are self-supporting.

Youth Activity Center
Located in the Riverside Arena side rooms at 501 2nd Ave NE, use the NE entrance. Youth must be at least 5th grade to enter. Open hours are Sunday 11:30—4 pm, Mon-Thurs 3:30-8 pm, Friday 3:30-10 pm, and Saturday 1-10 pm. Lounge area includes: Computer lab, pool tables, TV’s with dish, surround sound, DVD/VCR, stereo, Nintendo 64, Game Cube, darts, foosball tables, ping pong tables, air hockey and free popcorn!
Disk Golf
Located throughout Todd Park with a 27 Hole disk Golf Course. If you are looking for something new and challenging grab your disc and give the course a try. South Driesner Park also offers an exciting 9 holes.
Park Rules
Parks are open from 7:00 am to 10:30 pm. No camping, parking or driving on the grass, no glass, no hitting golf balls. Speed limit is 15 mph.
