Members invest in the Chamber for one primary reason - to promote, protect and develop business interests within our area. the principal aim of the Chamber must be for the general good - not just individual business gain. While it is likely that the Chamber can and will be of direct benefit to your business, it is certain that its programming will create a better business environment for everyone.
The Chamber does offer some specific programs that are designed to "ring the till" of many of its members. Chamber Bucks and the Buy Mower/Grow Mower campaign encourage people to shop locally. The Chamber Rewards program offers members the opportunity to promote their products and services to other members. Networking events help raise the visibility of your business and your personnel.
The success or failure of this organization is completely dependant on the amount of support shown by members of this business community. Nearly 400 strong, members of the Chamber commit their time and resources toward developing programs that improve our community and business climate.

Your Chamber works to unite the business community toward a single, common cause, improving our area's business climate. and we do so in a variety of ways.
The Chamber serves as a Voice for Business in government affairs, advocating for policies that enhance our business climate and against those that would have detrimental effect. We serve as a Community Receptionist, a single point of contact for information about our community and our business members. We organize events that connect our members and showcase our community. And we also help develop our workforce and business base through a variety of educational programs and services.
We are a business organization, founded and governed by business people, to promote, protect and advance business interests within our community.

The strength of our organization lies within its membership, the business owners and employees who lend their time, skills, and financial resources to the Chamber. The Chamber is made up of business and professional people from all backgrounds, people like yourself. We represent all business types and sizes, including retail, manufacturing, trades and service industries, and welcome all to join us.
The Chamber is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors, which approves programming and oversees finances. Scores of other members serve on more than a dozen committees, which focus on specific areas of work.
The Chamber depends entirely on the financial support of its members, and the collective talents of volunteers and professional staff.
